I'm not sure on the manufacturer
but I would image this would be closer to a traditional kilt for one of the
few kiltmakers that have Irish tartans.
- My Great Grandfather was from New
Brunswick. This kilt could be a 8yd Bear Kilt in wool or poly/viscose
I first wore a kilt on my wedding day, May 11th 2002. I puchased a complete Highland dress outfit from TartanTown. I bought a 8yd 13oz, worsted wool traditional "Made in Scotland" Kilt in MacDonald Modern tartan, along with an off-the rack Prince Charlie jacket and vest, Evening-wear sqorran, sgian dhu (more decorative than functional), white hose, green garter flashes, and ghillie brogues. Later I was given as gifts Bottle Green and Navy Hose. After my wedding I bought a kilt belt and a Day-wear sporran and garment bag/ kilt carrie from Hector Russell Canada.
