Thought I might post this here as well.
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
Greetings,
I am placing this Request for Help as I can no longer do the majority of
the work on the NVIDIA packages. Although some people have offered time
and work over recent years, there really needs to be another Developer
or Maintainer that can take on a lot of work. Also I feel an injection
of fresh spirit would be helpful in some of the areas requiring an
overhaul. I am not stepping away, however. I just wish to reduce my role
in a way that is more comfortable and beneficial to the team and
project.

Sigh. Although it’s sad to get an offtopic and childish comment like that I’m not surprised.

All your effort over the years has been much appreciated.
I think I would like to help, but I doubt I am even qualified, or have the time do to do it myself as I am in class. I don’t know how much time being a maintainer takes. I have dabbled with building packages and such before, but have been only rarely successful, usually ending up building and installing to /usr/local/

Sorry for the wrong place to ask:
As is prefer debian’s nvidia-kernel-source packages, I want to ask when 195.36.15 will be available, because
190.53 doesn’t work with kernel 2.6.33 without buggy patches?
Thx
