I’ve uploaded the 177.80 drivers to experimental. Note that there is another legacy break with this release. e.g. my secondary FX5500 card is no longer supported so I’m stuck at the 173.xx branch at work. The NVIDIA packaging team will have a legacy version of 173.14.12 available shortly.

Excellent work KhensU! For me it is typical to take the latest of everything and make one ultimate installment. Therefore when the NVIDIA page stated the newest driver would be 173.14.12 and that Debian had only 173.14.09, I checked this page *every* day *every* second to see when there is progress made. Fortunately after the long wait, you catched up with the latest NVIDIA version number and I was as fast as a rocket to get the newest kernel and compile it along with the NVIDIA kernel source provided by you guys. Currently posting from my new workstation CPU with an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 285 and NVIDIA 177.80 driver, works GREAT! Thank you so much for all the effort needed to make this happen! Best regards, LodeHacker.
